- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

Learn about the great benefits of Franklin Parks & Recreation Master Swim, meet the coach, and be at the first practice!
Early Registration for this month of FRP Master Swim Club: 7-7:30pm
Mel Goldstein with the US Master Swim National Office will speak, followed by the FPR Master Swim Coach Jon Kim at 7:30pm.
First practice session will be held immediately following until 8:30pm.
Early Registration Cost: $40, requires USMS registration (will have one-time 30 day waivers if needed)
Normal Monthly Registration Cost: $48, requires USMS registration
To participate in practice you must register for this month. If you want to come for information and watch practice, no registration is required! You may register prior at the Franklin Parks and Rec or online at register.franklinparks.org under Aquatics. For USMS registration go to www.usms.org/reg/.
Who should attend? Anyone 18 and older.
Swimmers of all ability are absolutely welcome! Practices will have lanes designated for all levels.
Equipment: If registering and participating – bring suit, goggles and cap if wanted.
