Active Adult Center

Those 55 and better are invited to join the Franklin Active Adult Center located at 160 E. Adams Street.  We are open 9-3, Monday through Friday, and there is always something fun going on at the AAC!  Our members enjoy opportunities to participate in exercise, games, crafts, cards, painting, line-dancing, singing, short-term classes, day trips and more! Our monthly lunch and learns, pitch-ins, and special events offer a variety of speakers, information, and entertainment as well as the best food in town.  Join us for a day trip around Central Indiana, the monthly birthday party, an individual or small group class, an afternoon movie, or to swap stories around the coffee pot. Wherever your interests lie, we've got you covered!  If we don't, just tell one of us and we will do our best to make it happen! Senior Centers are an important gateway not only to friends and fun but to services and resources in the community.  By staying in the know, keeping your brain and body active, and becoming involved in a caring community of friends, the AAC can help you make the most of every day.  Come check us out, pick up a newsletter, grab some coffee and visit. You'll be glad you did!
