Event Description:

The City of Franklin will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 28th, 2005 beginning at 5:00pm at City Hall located at 55 West Madison Street to provide interested citizens an opportunity to ask questions and give input on the site selection process for community wide brownfield assessment activities.  Persons that are interested in having their property assessed are strongly encouraged to attend.  The assessment activities will be paid for by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as part of a grant received by the City of Franklin.  Representatives from the consulting firm Burgess and Niple will be present to answer questions.  Every effort will be made to allow persons to voice their opinion at the public hearing.  Persons with disabilities or non-English speaking persons who wish to attend the public hearing and need assistance should contact Krista Linke, Franklin Department of Planning & Economic Development, 44 N.
