- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

DADDY/DAUGHTER DANCE 6:30 - 8:30 pm
This popular dance, for little girls ages 3-12 and their Daddy, fills up fast so sign up early as there is limited space available. Event lasts from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and features dancing, appetizers, sweets, photo opportunities, event CD, and party favor. MUST PRE-REGISTER. Event CD will be available at the front desk a week after the dance. Cost of $35 for City-Residents and $37 for Non-Residents. Registration begins August 1st.
MOM/SON NIGHT OUT 7 - 9 pm
Enjoy a night out for sons, ages 3-12, and their Mom at Hi-Way Lanes in Franklin. Event lasts from 7 pm to 9 pm. MUST PRE-REGISTER. Cost is $25
for City-Residents and $27 for Non-Residents. Cost includes 2 hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental, pizza, soft drinks, and party favor.
