FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - March 14, 2013

The public is invited to a visioning workshop to discuss the opportunities of planning for Franklin's future. The city is updating its Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and this workshop will gather public opinions about the goals of that plan.

"We want to hear about your priorities for the city's growth," Franklin Mayor Joe McGuinness said.  "I view this as a working document that belongs to the community. We hope you will join us on March 25th to share your ideas."

Topics for discussion include land use, downtown, economic growth and neighborhoods.

More information about the planning process and previous meetings of the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee may be found at  www.sdg.us/city-of-franklin-comprehensive-plan.
