- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

FRANKLIN REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Pursuant to Indiana's Open Door Law (specifically Indiana Code ยง 5-14-1.5 et seq.), this Open Door Notice is made to advise all that the City of Franklin, Indiana Redevelopment Commission will meet on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. to hold a special meeting to consider the status of, and take action relative to, the Shell Building Project, including approving final design, issuing Notice to Proceed, and transferring deed to builder. The meeting will be held at City Hall, Council Chambers, 70 East Monroe Street, Franklin, IN 46131.
