- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. FRANKLIN BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY

FRANKLIN REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Pursuant to Indiana's Open Door Law (specifically Indiana Code ยง 5-14-1.5 et seq.), this Open Door Notice is made to advise all that the City of Franklin, Redevelopment Commission and Board of Public Works and Safety will meet Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. to hold an open joint special meeting to discuss and act on the proposed BOW-to-RDC property transfer, specifically to repeal RDC Resolution 11-16, BOW Resolution 11-02, and the Transfer Agreement; and to consider new resolutions: RDC Resolution 11-19 and BOW 11-03 and Real Estate Transfer Agreement.
Immediately following the Special Joint Meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety will meet in a special open meeting to discuss and act on the 2011 South Street Paving Project.
The meeting will be held at City Hall, Council Chambers, 70 E. Monroe Street, Franklin, IN 46131.
