- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

Registration for the 2012 Franklin Swim Club will take place on Thursday, March 15 at the FCMS pool from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. This is a great "first" sport for children and is open to all youth that have some swimming ability. Cost is $95 per swimmer.
