- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

Experience some quality family time during our Family Swim sessions. Bring the whole family to the FCMS pool for some family recreation and fitness fun. Cost is $2 per person and an adult 18 and older must accompany all children 12 and younger. Adult does not have to swim, but does have to remain in the pool area. Children 12 and under who are dropped off without an adult present will not be allowed to swim. This is for the safety of all patrons. Lanes will always be available for lap swim. Please sign in with the lifeguard on duty. Family pool passes for community swim are available at Franklin Parks & Recreation for $30 per family of 4 and $5 for additional family members in immediate family. Individual pool passes are $10 each. Passes will also be valid for community swim times during the week!
