- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

Event Description:
Pottery
Students will learn various methods of hand construction with white art clay along with individualized instruction in the techniques of wheel throwing. Our adult pottery courses cover all the basic techniques such as coiling, slab methods, thrown pots and sculpting in clay. For those with experience of ceramics, we can expand and develop your skills; all supplies and the firing of finished pieces are included in the price.
Register one week before class. Each student can enter one item into the 2008 Ethos Art Show for free. Class is for teens/adults. 6 weeks.
