- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

Kids and Clay - Pottery
This is a great "hands-on" program! Learn basic hand building and wheel throwing to create three-dimensional art pieces. Students will learn to center, manipulate, and transform lumps of clay into pots, bowls and decorative artwork. Explore a variety of decorating and glazing techniques. Kids will receive instruction, clay, glaze, use of tools and firing with this program. Kids in the February class can put one of their projects into the Ethos Art Show; the kids in the September class can enter one item in the 2009 Ethos Art Show for free. Ages 9-12. 5 weeks
