- City CouncilThe City of Franklin Common Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Franklin. The members are elected by voters in their district and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 70 E. Monroe Street.

Event Description:
Beginner Tumbling
The class will focus on forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, walkovers and handstands. The class is designed for children with little or no experience and all stunts are done on the floor. Short tumbling routines on the mats will be emphasized as children are taught basic tumbling skills and techniques that help develop coordination, strength, balance, and self-confidence. Tumblers should wear clothes that do not restrict movement. $2 discount to city residents. Ages 6-9. 6 weeks
