MISSION: To safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, reduce crime, and enhance public safety to provide a safe atmosphere to raise families and promote business for generations to come. We will do so with honor, integrity, and in partnership with the citizens of our community.

UPCOMING POLICE-COMMUNITY EVENT: Franklin community members are invited to join local law enforcement for our second annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 6 - 9 p.m. This festival is in celebration of police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods a safer place to live.

The upcoming NNO event will take place in Province Park, bordering South Street, Branigin Blvd., Main Street, and Monroe Street.

This event will feature opportunities for interacting with Franklin police officers, Johnson County Sheriffs, and Franklin firefighters. Equipment and vehicles will be on display along with Police K-9 Unit demonstrations and other safety awareness activities. The Franklin Family Aquatic Center will be open to the public for a free swim. Free cookout, while supplies last, will be provided and the whole family is invited to enjoy an evening of fun!
