Professional Profile

Nathan Brown has worked for Franklin Parks and Recreation Department since 2007, moving to full-time in 2014 and is currently serving as Park Operations Director. He oversees park maintenance, landscape maintenance, sports field maintenance and grounds maintenance operations for the department.  He also manages all aquatics maintenance including maintenance/operations of the Franklin Family Aquatic Center.

Nathan is a 2018 graduate of the National Recreation & Park Association Park and Recreation Maintenance Management School and is an NRPA Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI).  He is also a NRPA Certified Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) by the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
