Q:  Is there a limit to the amount of trash a resident may place at the curb each week?
A: Yes, there is an 6 bag limit. (6 30-gallon bags or the equivalent).

Q:  Will my trash and recyclables be picked up on the same day?
A: Yes, there will be two trucks, one trash and one recycle, on the same day. Please have your trash and recyclables both placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the day of pick up.

Q:  Will there be leaf collection?
A: Yes, the city will pick up leaves at the curb. Please do not place leaves in the street (they can clog the storm sewers). Check your local paper or this web site for schedule.

Q:  What do I do if I need a replacement or an extra bin?
A: Call Ray's Trash Service at 1-800-531-6752. There will be a refundable $5.00 fee for replacement or extra bins.

Q:  Who should I call if I have items such as cardboard, whole tires, car or household batteries, used oil, household hazardous wastes or other items not acceptable in my trash or recycling program?
A: The Johnson County Solid Waste District at 317-738-2546
